A friend of mine sent me back an email I had written over 5 years ago, in it I predicted favre would play until he is 45, for at least 5 teams, the last one being the raiders. At the time, my friends thought I was crazy, now, not so much.

reasons favre can't quit, 2 reasons

#1 he is the most frugal with his money of any player wisconsin fans have ever known, known to stiff waiters, watresses, bag attendants at the golf course, caddy's, etc, welch on bets on the golf course - he will play as long as he can because he wants more money

#2 he wants to hold the QB records forever, as many as he can and even if he adds 8 or 10 td's, it will be that much harder for anyone to catch him. he has an ego that does not quit, if you guys did not know.

the reason he retires and unretires is he does not want to go to camp, rumor has it he also got the packers to give him his own locker room and that he often tues afternoon for mississippi and came back thursday morning, I don't know how true that is. his argument for not needing to practice is he already knows the offense, Mccarthy put his foot down and said that may be true, but your teammates need practice time with you.

Also, some packer players said the offense was difficult to change, since favre had troubles learning 'new' stuff. watch for teams to call out viking plays and audibles, I know darren sharper was calling out all of the packer stuff when he played for the vikes.

should be really interesting, favre will make it exciting for sure

Favre was expectedly off with his receivers tonite, but the affectionately-known Ta-garbage had a big night, throwing for 202 yds and 2 TDs as the Vikes beat the lowly Chiefs. They even threw in a goal-line stand at the end of the game to seal the game for good measure.

10/25. That will be Favre's Ali vs Holmes fight with Favre playing the role of Ali.

Favre had a much better performance vs. the Texans on Monday...looking forward to the end of the preseason on Friday vs. Dallas and then onto Cleveland.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

While it wasn't the best decision, it obviously didn't hurt them that much in the end though, did it?

Couldn't ask for more, I wanted my Vikings to destroy the Lions today but I was playing the guy who owns AP in our league...thankfully he did not run wild but we still got the win and covered the spread!

Took care of the Pack...(made it far too close in the end, however), now it's time to go 5-0!

Wow...you ViQueen fans are pathetic at keeping your thread going during the season. Over two weeks of no posts?

Turn in your posting rights, dumbasses.
