1. As a former BricklayersII owner, I have sympathy for mediumsize and the others who are committed to the league. The previous commish just did not care and that's why I bailed out. Also, there was talk of an owner-swap with sandlot that never materialized, for whatever reason.

Whoever ends up with the former Iowa City franchise can send me a thank you note.

2. As a former Sandlot owner, I cannot recommend this league as a candidate for this project. There has been no effort to recruit new owners. Find the thread in the classifieds and look at how little activity there has been to recruit new owners. Look - I like a lot of those owners. Good people. But it's a poorly-recruited league that has several "super teams" and a few real disasters.

3. I'm willing to add my name to the list for the NEXT time this happens. Having just started two leagues recently, I kinda need a few weeks to get those teams under control before taking on anything else.

soxfan, you should come back to Iowa City. You built a good team, so you should enjoy it. Also most of our teams are in good shape compared to some of the other leagues. I think our world could get back to being one of the better ones out there.

MikeT23, you can add me to the list. I would be interested in being a part of this. Of course if we pick Abbott, I already have a team.
