Hmmm, I'd narrowwd my choices to Aceves or Mitchell.  Back to the drawing board ...

I'll go with Greg Gross, OF.

This draft takes the cake for frustrating. Obviously, most owners are putting in the same leg work in drafts and you have to expect guys you want to appeal to others, but with the amount of time this particular draft requires in research, it drives you nuts when you think you've found a hidden gem, only to lose him at the last minute.

Example: After hours of scrolling through numbers and names, Whitey Witt springs up as an absolute steal for this point in the draft, but knowing there is a chance he'll be gobbled up by someone, it is decided that at the very least Claude Cooper or Greg Gross would be decent picks instead. Wham-bam, and it is back to square one.

The most important point you hit on is that people are working hard to research and make their teams the best they can, meaning once this league starts it is going to be exciting and competitive. But I am with you, it can be a bit frustrating. For me, the best example was after the 3rd round when I decided not to draft a 3B because there was seven 3B that I wouldn't mind having. Of course, by the time the draft got back around to me all seven were gone.

I've already resigned myself to having a lineup full of scrubs.  For my pick, I'll go with P Gio Gonzalez.
