"...and suppression of anti-regime activities;"

Yup! Suppression of the PEOPLE who activate (speak UP!) against the authoritarian "regime".

I couldn't have stated it any better, BUT I'd contend that THIS type of suppression is EXACTLY what our Constitution protects us FROM!
Suppression of the people's ideas and WILL is exactly what is done in Russia, China, Syria, etc (ALL the worst examples of governments thru-out history!)

It's Lunacy!
And the FACT that somebody from the right side of the political spectrum would back an idea promoted by a sociologist BASED at Yale--- (whatever happened to the Elites being the enemy of normal folk?), is hard to wrap your head around.
Last Point. WE don't have regimes in the U.S.A.

goMiami may be smart, but he's crazy wrong for supporting authoritarianism!

I JUST saw this on the TV! A tape of our POTUS in the El Paso hospital (looked like a hallway) talking about his visit to some arena here just a year or so ago (someone interjects the name of the place)--------- He then starts bragging about how many people attended and that there were 1000's more outside (wanting in). He then says Beto had a rally and he only drew like 400 people and he laughed. This is IN the Del Sol Hospital in El Paso yesterday. I don't know whether or not it was taped BEFORE or AFTER He was informed that NONE of the surviving victims remaining in the Hospital would agree to meet him. NADA!

Maybe one or two MIGHT have agreed to it IF He'd pay his campaign debt to the City of El Paso of over $470,000.00 that they've repeatedly had to bill him for and that still hasn't been paid.

Let's do the tally.
We KNOW he's a liar.
We KNOW he's a racist (at heart!)
And We KNOW he's a fraud who has defrauded folks of MILLIONS of dollars.
And (lastly) We Know He's OUR POTUS.

How LONG? (Must this keep going on) Ace

The Trump campaign racked up $569,204.63 in debt to El Paso, the Center for Public Integrity reports. And El Paso is only one of several cities where Trump has rallied and dashed.

I think there should be a minimum wage.. That said raising the minimum wage is a horrible idea.

Affirmative action is reactionary, not proactionary. We need equality in opportunity, not outcome.

Sanctuary cities are pointless when we reinstate catch and release.

Schools should teach to each student

affirmative action exists.
still need federal voting act as well....they said it wasnt needed...look what happened.
after seeing all the racism in the country now calling affirmative action reactionary is quite frankly reactionary.
we are just not where we need to be in this racist nation where affirmative action for many groups isnt needed.

ihope you dont belong to a union......i dont like general one size fits all comments like raising all minimum wages is bad.

I support the electoral college. Maybe some time later I'll take the time to spell out why, but it's long for a forum post.
