Never know about those things wylie. It's amazing how often this truly is a small World. Again, it doesn't matter, I was just trying to show how pointless posting intentionally annoying things would be. I just wish people would stop twisting others' (mine, or whoever's) words and making assumptions about people they know nothing about when they make posts here.
I tell you what, all3..when you stop doing that, maybe I'll stop responding to your posts. And don't try to tell me you do not do that. You assume tang is an idiot, coreander is a clueless youth, and so on. I won't say I don't do it too, because I do. I assume things about the people who post here based on the things they post. Who knows if they are true or not? What someone posts here may have absolutely nothing to do with what they actually believe or who they actually are.. You (and I) know next to nothing about any of the posters here. I can almost guarantee you that tang is not an idiot...maybe somewhat naive, but not an idiot.

And yes, you never know. It is possible that one of your ancestors saved one of my ancestors, but it is highly unlikely.

But if white supremacists were taking out protesters, you'd probably want the police to
A) Wear nametags so you are easily identifiable
B) Don't publish the names of the people taken in
C) Actually make arrests and work within the law instead of dropping protesters off randomly after getting IDs

Wouldn't that make more sense?

Also, I haven't had a satisfactory answer for why the feds/police are still engaging protesters on the streets. If you want to protect property, protect property. Why aren't they guarding stores and courthouses? Why are they on the streets? We know that curfews don't work. The specific explanation for why they are in Portland seems to be graffiti and a fence being taken down.
All of those things would be vastly preferable. And I agree - there is no reason for active engagement of peaceful protesters if they aren't breaking any laws. Frankly, even if they are breaking some misdemeanor laws in reasonably benign ways. The right to political protest is a fundamental protection under the 1st Amendment.

I just think it's a big, big, big, big, big leap from any of this to the idea that the Federal government is creating lists of protesters to either A) kill them or B) round them up in concentration camps. I don't see either of those things happening.
OK. We're on the same page here.

I obviously can't convince you that what could be happening is going to happen. I just have my eyes open to it. If Trump did want to kill the protesters, every action he is taking now would make a lot of sense. But I can't, and shouldn't, say with certainty that he will because we don't know. Hopefully it doesn't happen, and hopefully Trump loses in November so we never have to see anyway.

Yes, I may general statements like dummy, idiot, clueless spoiled rick kid, or whatever, but I try not to make specific assumptions about individual things (like assuming I couldn't relate to losing family in concentration camps or didn't grow-up getting free/reduced school lunches or don't have friends of many races - last two maybe weren't you). At least as often as not, such assumptions are not true, no matter who they are made by.

where did I say I assumed you could not relate to losing family in concentration camps? I just said I had. You constantly assume I hate Trump and I loe about him, even though I have said many times that I don't hate him. I have also asked you numerous times to show me one lie I told about him, yet you haven't done that.

federal courthouse, justice center, federal office building

three different buildings taking up whole blocks on three successive streets

16 floors, 18 floors, 18 floors

the city/county justice center sandwiched between the two federal buildings

across the avenue, three park blocks -- a great place to assemble on a hot summer evening

farther, past the park blocks, the county courthouse, portlandia, and city hall

now the justice center is a jail. there are local inmates in there. you me he she they

city county state federal

cannot let that place burn

so the fact largely peaceful protesters are hassling feds next door at dusk

seems to me enough reason to break up the assembly

considering the small minority, take my word, does set fires and bust windows and light off bottle rockets

right next door to 300 locked up guests of the county

Because you’re INCREDIBLY naive.

Exactly what great things has QAnon uncovered, prominent Fox New host Jesse Watters?

Tom Cotton apparently said that slavery was a "necessary evil."

I don't see all3's outrage about this slippery slope.

Orban in Hungary should be a HUGE warning sign to all of America. He's taking state control over the news and is a FASCIST, but Trump absolutely loves him and so do his supporters.

Like I said, it's not difficult at all to draw a line between Trump and dictatorship. His rhetoric mirrors that of fascists historically and in the present day.

God, you like everyone else are using this quote out of context. He said the founders viewed slavery as a "necessary evil" which is completely historically accurate.

To take his quote and say Cotton believes slavery was a "necessary evil" is just outright shady reporting, meant to feed the outrage machine and confirm the worldview of true believing lefties like yourself.

That’s not much better, you know.
