I'd STFU for substantially less than $40M. Any chance I can get a deal like that?

You'll STFU when your wife tells you to.  So, no, your STFU standards are low.

Out of me and you, which of us is the bigger idiot?

If Wisconsin was unbeaten, would they rank ahead of Boise State and/or TCU in the BCS rankings?

I guess it depends on your definition of "rogue".
Since we supplicants are confined to questions here, it's appropriate for me to reply:

What is YOUR definition of rogue?

How long have you been a rouge commish?
what the heck is a rouge commish?  Sound a bit ghey to me.

Was Braz thrown into elderly confusion by our CFL talk?
Was that a little esoteric, or did you remember our conversation about the rouge?

I'm still not sure.

I think a lot of things confuse Braz.
I thought we discussed, briefly, the Alouettes/Argos.

i'm sure this has been asked countless times and i even tried to be a somewhat lazy research monkey by checking the past few pages in this forum for the answer, but didn't find it.
is there a way to tell if a free agent to be will be type a or type b? can guys who are assigned to aaa get that type of designation next season? i'm trying to figure out if a guy is 'worth' a pick next season if he's signed by someone else.
11/16/2010 10:12 AM
No, it's just a best guess.  Obviously players with 80+ overall will be Type A but the rest is a guess.   I'm pretty sure all FA, regardless of what level they played, can get a comp designation.

as a general rule, what age would you not want to have an everyday player signed past? and i'm not talking studs here, as they are the exception. how old are 'formerly above average guys' when they stop being worth a good sized contract?
11/16/2010 10:32 AM
Depends on the position and ratings.   Skill ratings hold up reasonably well but physical ratings start taking hits at 32-33.   If you're counting a guy's range/power to earn his keep, I wouldn't want him past 33.   If contract/glove are his selling points, 35-36 is OK.

Where does Derek Jeter fit into that equation?
