Ok, forgot about good 'ole Print Screen. I am going to get averages for Human/Sim schools as rails asked about also, not really sure if that is too useful but i am working on that. I can do it by prestige too if I have time.

THere isn't any way to do it by class and position?
For example, freshman point guards Fs Senior, et al. . or starter Vs Non starter?

Yeah I can do by class, not by starter/backup tho.

Class might be interesting: Give you some idea what the average DI freshman might look like.

this is an extremely helpful thread for anyone entering d1 it somewhat shows what range of players to aim for as a non bcs school.

agreed, but if you do it for seniors remember a lot of the best leave early.

I would lump it by upperclassmen, Sophomores and Freshmen since Jrs/Srs are pretty much the same.

awesome zeedude! awesome!

is it possible to do the top25 teams, or maybe just top10 if top25 is too hard?

that gives us an idea of what types of players you are going to have to have to compete with the top teams.

also, not sure if this is possible.... i saw you talking above about starter vs non starter and i can see where that would be real tough to do. BUT, what if you out all the freshmen. now, obviously, some freshmen are contributers, but usually not starters or key contributers, and oftentimes good players ride the pine for a year at the top programs. plus you will definitely be leaving out all the walkons, which is important. on the other side, i understand that not all of the sop,jr, seniors are contributers, but i would guess that, for the top teams, that the large majority of these upperclassmen are contributors in some fashion.

does that make any sense?
