YES! I am really excited also. I am going to go to three so far... got my tickets for the United Center game on Friday against Gonzaga, my dad bought tickets for him and I and my brother to go to Assembly Hall to see IL/MSU and I usually go to the game at Carver since I live in Iowa.

I just got into an argument with a good friend who is a MSU fan who didn't mention IL as a potential Big Ten Title Contendor. In no way do I think they should be favorites (MSU clearly should be) but you can't talk about who has a chance to win the title and leave Illinois out. They have only improved the talent of their team since last year and if my memory is still as good as it use to be... I think we were damn near the top last year!

Good games to have tickets for! (minus the iowa one of course)

I've got a good friend who lives in chicago so I might try to make the Gonzaga game too. I've never been to a NBA arena so that would be cool. I probably won't decide until a week before the game. I don't think the UC usually sells out does it?

I am pretty positive it usually does. You can check now but I know there were only 300 level seats on TicketMaster Friday Night. The tickets we bought are on StubHub and what not for over 2x facevalue I think...

I have been to the Bradley Center a few times. Most recently for the MickyD's AA game a few years back. Years and Years ago I went to a few Bucks game (I think Big Dog was still around last time I went)

Was that the Center Fregoe? I have noticed in the past that Centers (since the top ones that you would likely be recruiting at 'Cuse) all have near max ATH/REB/DE/SB/LP, it is really a crap shoot as to which ones will leave early.

yes I lost a C and PF early. i guess I can see why they but having them both go is crazy. especially when there are so many players just as good or better on better teams that went further in the NT.

Yeah I agree with you. I am not happy about losing 4 guys. I understand that the reason for it was 1) We won the Title, 2) We had no seniors and 3) the guys we did lose were highly rated. But I still wish the EE selection engine was much better there are too many questionable departures year in and year out.

Your PF was pretty good, I could see him going. I think that losing one for any team (especially a power 6 and for sure your Elite school) is completely justified. But I do agree two is a bit harsh.

zhawks, the PF you listed was Schleshinger of UNC, 1st team AA scoring 15 points per game. Then there's White from UNC, another 1st team AA scoring 17 a game. Not to pick on UNC, but those guys were total studs for a top team. Absolute total studs. Granted, UNC went out in the 2nd round (this is given WAY too much weight in the HD EE calc, by the way), but come ON!

Funny how the guy that UNC did lose was nowhere near the guys that stayed (IMO).

He's the one, zhawks. EE is broken. And IMO, even if it was perfectly executed, why have it? Ok, I know that it's in RL. But why not remove it entirely from the simulation. I imagine there are at least 99 customers significantly frustrated by EEs for every 1 that likes it (if such a person does exist).
