She has improved greatly in the last couple of days.

She has stage four lung cancer and caught pneumonia on top of that, so it has been a rough week. Sunday was especially bad.

Oh wow...I'm so sorry. Hang in there, man. Both my parents are still around, but I was very involved in final (and long) tough times with my parents in law and I'm very aware of how all-consuming and exhausting (and painful) it can be.

She is getting out of the hospital tomorrow.

I have to find her a skilled nursing facility for a few weeks to transition her back home.
