Sounds interesting, when do i pick my team? What number in the draft?

quick question: So a team that wins say 30 fewer games can actually make the playoffs over a team that wins 90 games? Depending on the team and goal?

When we're full, there will be a random draft order set for choosing franchises. staindman is listed 24th because, well, he knows why :-))

Correct. No team has yet made the playoffs without achieving all three goals (though toddleduc gave it a heck of a shot last season), so it it comes down to how many games you win over your projected wins. The cutoff for playoffs has generally been +6 to +9 or so.

Anyone new to this league also should keep in mind that it's different enough that most of the time the first season is a learning experience. Having to balance achieving goals, win games and still have a good playoff team is not the same as just building a regular open- or theme-league team.

If you're someone easily frustrated by a slow start, this might not be the league for you.

This was my second ever WIS sports league. I took the Dallas Double plays and I think my adjust win total was 3. However using the knoladge I gained in that leauge I managed to make the playoffs in this league the next 3 or 4 seasons in a row.
