As far as having an open class one year, there are benefits. If you have a decent conference, it is a great rebuilding tool. You keep all the post-season money for that year and can really go after people the following one.

If I cut 2, giving me 8 open spots, and use 6 schollies on Frosh, but run out of cash in the process... will Admin add 2 sophs as walkons since I cannot have a recruiting class greater than 6?

I think its more "YOu can't have more than six SCHOLARSHIP players in a class, although I have never tested that. . .
