I just want to say thanks for this thread for a good afternoon laugh.

The thought of recruiting on Valentine's Day did cross my mind when I saw the date but as a married guy with two kids my wife moved past, and quickly dismissed any efforts of trying to understand why managing a fake basketball team makes sense. That probably happened about 5 years ago.

lol! cb, i know where you are coming from. you just got to get somebody to cover for you :) thats what i would do... figure out all your recruiting actions on saturday and send somebody an exact list, then it only takes 5 minutes and really is no big deal.

maybe. but any man worth his salt will do something regardless, knowing the bang for your buck is huge. how hard is it really to get a thing of flowers or a plant, maybe a box of chocolates, maybe some champagne, and spend an evening together? even if you could get away with nothing, its just not worth it.
