Hart- I felt comfortable marking down WiredTiger's vote, since I play with him in GAP and this isn't the first time he mentioned his preference. If he asks for his vote to not be counted, I won't count it, but I do not see that happening.

If you have a problem with my decision, then start your own damn poll.

You can't create a poll, make up votes, and expect anything to come from it. So you're either wasting your time for no reason (which is your right I guess) or you're trying to accomplish something with your poll. If you're trying to accomplish something, let people make their own votes. Don't assume how you think they'd vote. He is clearly capable of reading a thread and making a post, so why not let him do that?

A) I felt like it
B) I don't care for your opinion

Don't make me start redlining you in this thread, too. You're already off topic and I'm being very lenient by letting your posts stand.

Are you kidding me? Off topic in a RSF thread? Good luck with that one...

The redlined posts in the other thread were already deleted. Redlines generally fly when you give a fair warning.

FWIW, Here is the response I got from customer service after asking them if they think the current policy favors tanking.

Robert,

To base it on anything but the draft order is too subjective and I think you can see the argument where one owner feels that his player is worth more than another player.

In the interest of fairness we base it off the draft order for the current season. It does not mean that we condone tanking, we just want the process to be as fair as possible.

My post was a vote. I still think $ amounts is the best way to determine which player is more "valuable"

"I think you can see the argument where one owner feels that his player is worth more than another player. "

The easiest way to determine compensation order is to base compensation on the highest X contracts signed during the offseason, with comepnsation given based on which owners lost the most valuable players.

Of course they should just do away with compensation it's a foolish concept.

I can appreciate that he is capable of reading a thread and making a post of his own - something you apparently feel he is incapable of.

Dean,

It's on our list of items to tackle. It's not a simple change on our end, which is why it isn't in place. It's one of the few rules we were not aware of when we originally designed the game.

Thanks

that one will be reinstated - unless you're going to redline WT's post too.

Dee, what was that a response to?
