Sorry to piggyback-

How does the actual picking go? I had a guy #1 in my queue that went undrafted, and a guy #40 or so was picked with the #6 spot.

Sorry for the newbie question, but just a bit frustrated right now I didn't get a guy I was hoping to start this year.

(To cover some basic questions, I had 36 men on my 40 man roster, 1 catcher selected to pick, and about $30 million in extra payroll.)

It's possible that he was making more than 327K. That's the default salary and you have to change it.

The first thing my mentor told me about rule 5 is don't target a player you don't see on your ML roster cause that's where he'll be.
To let you guys know I got the guy I wanted. Projected ratings contact 42, batting vs lhp 75, batting vs rhp 72, batting eye only 28, rng 86, glv 79, armstr 92, armacc 100. Overall I think he looks like a good deal.
