There are many changes, but the biggest is that the player skills improve much more slowly, but the hard cap is still there, so without a few seasons of testing it is hard to say that things are back to the way they were before the steroid era.
There are a tremendous amount of bugs, even in the third season, so I am amazed that they are ready to roll it out. I did have a guy with 27 DU get injured and drop to 60%. That hasn't happened in a long time. I guess they want to make DU meaningful again. That could be a big change that ****** people off that hate injuries at all.
My personal pet peave is the PBP change that they introduced. Fortunately seble changed some of the things that drove everyone nuts. I just didn't think PBP was a problem that needed to be fixed. Start getting used to, "Dustin Baker hits the front of the rim on the jumpshot from the free throw line". When I am scanning and read "Dustin Baker hits", I am expecting a basket. I don't need to know what part of the rim he hit, but that's me. You will learn to hate it too.
