Having just dived into HBD within the past 6 months or so, I find it incredibly complicated and, of course, addicting. I'd like to see someone who has experience in HBD running the show, preferably kneeneighbor since he had the original idea and was making good progress before we found out it wasn't going to be allowed.

Nothing against you soxyanks, as I believe I've joined every league you've ever started or tried to start! I'm on my fifth and sixth seasons of HBD, and wouldn't dream of trying to run a league yet. There are infinitely more potential trouble spots in HBD than in SimLeagues, especially tanking, unfair trades, collusion possibilities, etc. When we have inevitable vacancies, the more experienced — in HBD — the commissioner the better.

In any case, I'm in.

understood, what we may wanna do is look at posting an opening for an experienced commish as we get closer to filling and or our 6/1 time line

im tentatively in..again..i realize my past six months havent been the best for me when ive been on here..but as most of you know lots of issues..but looking up!

even with your issues you still have done your best to keep us informed...and that is all i would ask...as there is no live min you would just have to let us know when you would be gone for an extended period.

And thanks for not taking my post personally! It was not intended that way and I'm glad you took it in the spirit in which it was intended.

knee is certainly a possiblity if he wants to run it but im sure that running the league AND the blog has got to be too much...

my thought was to ask one of the experienced commish's if theyd like to get us going..and have a council of say 9 or 10 of us to be able to vote on issues (in case the guy we pick turns out to be an a**)

and no way would i take it personally...with my 3 seasons of HBD i KNOW how hard it is to run a team..never mind the friigen league...I just volunteeredas a way to get us going as we finally got the ok from WS!

If they would ever allow us to play HBD games live I'd be all over it. I thought that's what this thread was about so thanks for wetting my pants.

I may get in though, I played a season when it first came out and liked it a lot. But I quickly found out that at the time I just didn't have enough free time to attend to my team.

I played the first 2 seasons of HBD but none since. I actually liked it but was doing so well with the sim live so I devoted all my time to it instead. I would like to try HBD with a fresh start and can committ for 5 years np. Be a lot of fun with the sim live bunch!
