thurst, I agree completely. That is the problem with using guys with high $/IP in OLs, they have to do what you expect, or you are dead. I have had average seasons from '95 Maddux and various iterations of Pedro, but I only use them in higher cap leagues where we have other "stud" pitchers as well, who may pick up the slack. In an OL, all of the top choices in this thread are, IMO, too expensive. Although, when these guys are good, they are very, very good. We all would like our chances if we entered the playoffs with a rested '95 maddux, '00 Martinez and '09 Adams on our side.
