I loved using the draft. It's needed to make it fill these days. 1st come, 1st serve is a hard way to fill theme leagues with as much exclusivity as this one in the almost dead nba-sim.

ps - if you decide no on a draft, put me down for the Sixers. =p

Okay, if you feel it will fill better with a draft, draft it is! Thanks again for the input.

Once 24 owners have decided to join we will have a draft to decide teams. We will use this to decide draft order.

I like how you put the Magic with the Heat/Hornets instead of Bobcats... The magic being in the group of four seemed like too much. I think the foursome is much more balanced now. I'm worried the heat/hornets/magic might be too good, but that's pure speculation because... because I think the Magic are almost good enough to stand alone. Not quite, but almost.

Question: in the monkee-run ones, 3 people could take the 3-group franchise while 4 people could take the 4-group franchise (making sure each named their team something different)... we gonna roll that way this time, too, or will there be less? I think there are 25 teams if only one person can draft the clustered franchises each... I think it can/will work either way, just want to be clear on it.

In. $47 mil sounds right to me. And a randomized draft order makes sense to get this league rolling again.

Yeah, with the uneven balance of teams slicing 7 of them was/is tough.

This is not concrete however. Toronto paired with Minnesota is decent, but I was looking hard at switching Minnesota with Orlando.
