Glad you're not CS then. Respectfully.

Respectfully thank you.

If you want to see examples then just go to the Team Leaders on the stats for each division/conference and compare how many teams are shooting +35% in the new engine world vs the old engine world. I know its early in the season but the results are staggering.

Hopefully he'll take a look and check it out and either make an adjustment or let us know that everything is fine:

Hello, my user ID is dcy0827. Could you please direct this ticket to Seble's attention? I was wondering/hoping if he could check the three point shooting in the new engine? I realize it's only been a couple of games, but it seems like an extraordinary number of three point attempts are being made.

I'm not trying to whine or anything like that, just hoping that he could look into this. I love this game and just want to make sure that it's working as good as it possibly can. As I said, the number (percentage) of three point makes seems a bit on the high side at this point (others have noticed the same thing as well) and I wanted to point this out to him and so he can see what, if anything, needs to be adjusted.

Again, can you forward this ticket to Seble for his review? I would certainly appreciate it and thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Thanks again.

i have seen much better 3 point shooting from certain players than i've ever seen from similar type players before about 4-5 times already across the new engine worlds. had a SF shoot like 6-6 from 3 with set to -1, pretty sure ive never had a SF do that before with how i use them.

Anyone think the 5/27 change may have gone too far? I had a 83 stamina player go 28 minutes on fairly fresh, a 88 stamina player go 29 minutes.

Also my fouls were WAY down, 19 in my 3rd game total for both teams vs. 32 and 34 in the first pair.

Could just be that I played a zone team so they didn't foul as much and my IQs are getting better a little.

Also very average to weak PER values shot 8-20 against me at home. And I was 9-18 from 3.

Agreed

the new engine was essential to update the code, and so the code could be updated, tweeked by the new team in charge

the speed with which these updates were made is very encouraging

also, although not perfect (maybe), the changes seemed to target the right stuff

couple more and the engine might be in pretty good shape

I am far from an HD apologist, as there were a few decisions made in this new engine that I am not in favor of at all, but the engine itself seems encouraging, and the ability to fix / adjust / respond to problems appears to be excellent based on what we saw so far

time will tell - but last night's update appears to be a step in the right direction - certain of this = no, hopeful= yes

Agreed, some reduction in fouls and some increase in rest at the half seem good.

I also agree that it seems 3-point percentage is a bit higher than it should be ... but we are only talking 3 games into the season for Allen.

The best teams for the season should be shooting about 41%-44% ... currently in Allen, the best teams are shooting around 60%.

Last night game we both ran press. Nor once did we have a guy ever get past getting tired. Fouls were still up there (18/24), but steals were down (5/2)

Anyways, I could live with not being super tired. He also ran slowdown, but I still put up almost 70 on him. That would never happen in the old engine.

And here we go...Im one of the biggest defenders of Seble...but this is why it ****** me off that they release the update before its ready to go...we are now paying money to play a guessing game...try to adjust to the "new engine" and two days later they make "tweaks"...I was perfectly happy with the old engine as I knew what to expect...I dont even mind a new einge so long as its consistent...but this is simply BS...Im strongly considering dropping all my teams if they cant get it right.

Honestly, I'm dumbfounded that there were vets out there who didn't expect that there would be tweaks after the roll-out. I'm not saying that makes it perfect or even right, but I'm really thrown by any vet who is surprised by it ... as I tell people all the time at work, it's all about managing expectations.

(Not to say that we should expect little, only that the expectations should be pragmatic and attuned to reality ... my expectations for what the engine will look like after a month or two was always much higher than what it would look like after a day or two.)

I am not surprised by needing tweaks dalter. What I am surprised by is that the engine was rolled out in this kind of shape. I honestly believed that the months of beta testing would have produced a better product but I was obviously mistaken.

Thats what you call this? Youre quickly losing credibility; a team having 7-8 players fouling out is not tweaks. Players entering a 2nd half at "tired" is not tweaks. Completely killing a defense (whether people think it should exist in the first place is another question as if its an option it should work in line with other defenses) is not tweaks. This is an engine that shouldnt be rolled out; it shouldnt require such dramatic changes within days of being released; it should not require the entire world being paused because there are so many issues with the engine. And worst of all we should not be their guine pigs forced to pay to test the product. They should be ashamed for how this has been handled.

This started with beta testing. There was no communication and games wouldnt be simmed for weeks; I'd log in for days on end and nothing; suddenly 10 games were simmed in a day with no notice. Of course people lost interest and didnt participate. Your "dumbfounded"? Im dumbfounded that you cant see these things.

You know what its our own fault to because we are all addicted to this game like crack they know we wont go anywhere. This type of thing would be unacceptable in any other industry and people would flock away. They should be kissing our A$$ begging us not to leave and apologizing for this joke of an implementation. We should all be given 5-packs per each team we have so we dont incur the cost of them getting it right.

I for one have had it; if they want my money they need to earn it which they have not; Im cutting back to one team after these seasons and it kills me to even keep the one; but I did so much to get there Im not biting my nose to spite my face and will pay for free anyhow. If they dont figure it out by the time those seasons expire...Ill drop that one as well.
