You only got the 1 seed because I blew it SB. You didn't get it back until the last day (after two of my starters were down for most of the last 20 games).

But, I did learn a valuable lesson about the defensive replacement grid. That is one area where my team in that league is very strong. It's extremely ironic that defense is what ultimately killed me.

This is pure Bucknerism. Why wasn't there a defensive replacement in the game? Was a guy with 4 innings all year at a position the best he had? Or, like Buckner, did Simmy want him on the field to experience the thrill of winning the WS.
