Amazing that of all the possibilities out there, pedro took my 2nd choice with the very next pick after mine.
your Yankees were my first choice - it will be interesting to see if/how you fit Ruth, Dimaggio and Mantle in.
I must have been on to something because my top 2 choices went 2nd and 3rd.

The only thing I didn't post in my original thread (or this one) was how I was going to align each league.  Other than putting four of the same franchise in the same division, I hadn't given it much thought.  Here's my thinking:  I'm leaving it up to you guys.  You have one of two ways to go here (obviously the four of the same franchise will be a factor if that should happen):  (1) Just do a random alignment for each league, using "random.org", or (2) align the divisions according to the order of the draft (i.e., the first four N.L. teams picked will be the N.L. East, etc.).  Doesn't matter to me - either way is fine.  We'll go with majority rules here (and yes, even though you may have more than one team in here, you only get one vote).

Nineteen owners in this round - first choice that gets ten votes is the way we'll go...

Option One:  8  (PEDROCERRANO, WAVELANDGUY, JFRANCO77, R90377, NBL17, NJBIGWIG, EMAN7400, YAZ_BENDERS)
Option Two:  11  (ZEPHYR1949, DEWELCH71, MUCKLES6, RONTHEGENIUS, CALHOOP, NOCOMM999, RAZORCLAMS, MARKEKING, CHISOCK, MMTDAD, RIZITOS)

option #2

I'd vote Option #1 Random - pending an answer to this question....if an owner with 2 teams randomly winds up with both in the same division, does it stick or get redone?

Also, what about clones?  If I were to take Red Sox 1919, 1939, 1959, 1979, 1999, can I have 1939 and 1959 Ted Williams?

Well, my intention was to not have clones in this round - and with 20-year spans between the years, I didn't think it would be a problem.  Then again, there's guys like Ted Williams.  Since you haven't picked yet, I'm saying NO to clones.

Good question about the alignment - if an owner ends up with two teams in the same division, I'll keep doing a random draw until he doesn't have two teams in the same division.  I can live with two (or even three, if divided up) teams in the same league - but not two or more in the same division.

I'd vote for option#1 as long as an owner doesn't end up with 2 teams in the same division.

I'd vote for random distribution

I just got home, I was off today - was going to take that '09 A's but lost that chance. I'm stuck between 3 teams and will pick in the morning. Too tired to make a good decision.

Also for league alignment, put my friend, PedroCerrano's four teams in one division and randomly align the rest.

Sorry NJ, there was no third option...
