The '42 Cards won 68.8% of their games and now getting Teddie Ballgame to an already potent offense, I wonder if they ever went 0-4 to start the season and have the losses come from the pen. I wish WIS would have a Tandem Starter for the 1 position too. Three teams under .500, one at .500 and two starting with wins, doesn't look good for JJ

My 80 Mil Clone team of Kevin Brown and Tim Raines is off to an 0 - 4 start.  Not sure I'll be able to turn this team around, anybody want to trade teams?

1-5 in the PM games.  Yeehaw!

I've found that I can't look at the results until the end of the day  (when each team has played 3 games). Otherwise, I get too mad! It kind of evens out the ups and downs and keeps my blood pressure at a more even keel...

all my teams are doing ok, besides the 0-5 start by my 70 mil team.  Too early to change managerial style?

My $70M is proving to be every bit as aggravating as I thought they'd be.  Run totals of 1, 1, 1, 0, and 11, and the accompanying 1-4 start. 

I may change the name to the "Binary Wonders".

My 1987 Rick Reuschel ($70M league) gave up an infield single to Walt Weiss in the 3rd inning of 8/6 pm.  Walt freakin' Weiss.  Only baserunner allowed by Reuschel in a complete game 1-hitter.

my 70mil team's pitching is horrible...i've scored 17 runs in the 1st 3 games combined and haven't won a ballgame..losing the last one 9-12...this is my only bad team thus far..and could really do damage to my overall record

Day 2 brings a 2-1 day for the 70mil team evening them up, but also giving them their 3rd 1 run loss.  80mil starts 1-2..Marichal is going to have to pitch better than he did today. 90mil team starts with a 14 inning loss, finishes 1-2 on the day. Just 1 run in each of the 2 losses. Another 1-2 day for the 100mil team...really hoping they can eek out 70 wins. 120mil team the first team of mine to crack .500, with an opening day 2-1 record.  Woo hoo, something to smile about.  And the 140mil team evened their mark at 3-3 with a good day.  Better day than day 1, but its going to have to pick up just a bit more to be successful.

Now 2-5 with my $140mil team, but the astonishing part?  6 of the 7 games have been pitchers duels, with no team scoring more than 5 runs.

I don't think I've ever had this many 1-run or walk off losses to start any league, let alone 4 of them. 

2 of my teams at .500 or better are in/tied for last. Some tough looking divisions after all.
