Worst player ever? Topic

sign him to a 5 year, escalating contract with a no trade clause. then waive him. after he clears waivers, trade him to a noob.

He may walk the bases if he ever gets on, but be smarter than average about doing it.

He is, without a doubt, the worst player I have ever seen.  Therefore, I think it is imperative that you keep him on your roster somehow.

I think he's got some dirt on MikeT.  MikeT can't release him or he'll leak it to the press.

Wow.  That guy could play for the Mariners in real life.  You know, clubhouse leadership and stuff.

I thought this was another Jeter thread.

For all you know, the guy might have been like Willie Mays in his prime. And now, at the end, he too will trip over himself to try to catch a ball.

I'd be awfully tempted to offer him extensions until he begged to be allowed to retire.

You also need to remember that talent is relative to the overall world.  You want to put him on the trade block and see if you get any bites.  He may be average related to the world...

Furthermore, you should start him at CF in a ST game and report back his performance, particularly defensively.

This player is the second biggest surprise I've ever had in my whole life.

Why did you release him?  I would have waived him and put him in the minors for as long as I possibly could.  See if you could get his overall down to 0.
