I have a suggestion, and maybe it is not a good idea or doesn't make sense but could we bring it up for discussion not to have AAA in this league at all?   It seems as though with 24 teams and 30 real  life teams that there would be plenty of at bats and innings for everybody and wouldn't be a problem. planning for.  I would think it'd make it a true 2010 league with no outside factors.

Anybody else have an opinion on this?

except for the fact that real teams have minor leagues and call up guys all the time...my thought is to keep it the same

My argument in favor of AAA is the mess made of pitching stamina in the past decade. To get enough SP innings, most of our draft teams will need at least 6 and probably 7 pitchers who can go 5+ IP/G. And because we are dependent on the average IP/G thrown instead of what guys are capable of throwing, we'll need deep bullpens. In 2009 there were 74 pitchers who went 6+ IP/G, but 112 MORE who threw 5-6 IP/G. In real life, those 112 pitchers were mostly capable of going 7-8 innings at times, but we can't do that. The AAA P are necessary, IMHO.

And I always like having AAA hitters, just for the fun of it.

Not true.  We want the innings.  I played non-live draft leagues for '08 and '09 without AAA.  You just have to draft carefully.

Given the limited player pool I'd personally rather draft for talent anyway...
