As for me, I wasn't even aware of it, and don't remember seeing a thread about it, but my response would have been pretty similar.    And I would also say there is at least a subtle difference between 'not recruiting' and purposely CUTTING all of them?  JUst a little bit?

I don't see how they are screwed. Our conf has a winless sim, and we are still the #2 ranked conf. Our other conf has always had a couple 0-5 win teams, and always been ranked #1 and send about 6-8 guys to the post season every year. You guys act like this will suddenly make a top conf a #8 conf. A conf that would usually send 6+ teams only sending 2 or something. Stop acting like someones getting screwed.

I wasn't here if this happened before, but having read almost all the old forums trying to understand this game better so I can be more successful, I see that there are alot of people who take this game seriously and care what happens to their teams.  If anyone doesn't want to be a part of this game for whatever reason, that is their right, but actions do affect other people who do pay money to play this, and we should have some respect for those other players and have some integrity.  There were better ways for him to handle this is all anyone is saying.

Just totally devoid of logic.

No one is saying he needs to simply bite his lip. He can air his grievance in public, with CS, any way he wants.

This wasn't about not paying additional money. If he doesn't want to buy more seasons, then that's well within his right. This was intended as a final, major  "F U" to WIS, which it isn't at all. It just screws the guys he's been in the Big East with for all of these seasons.

This guy clearly violated the Terms of Service.  He should be immediately banned from all WIS games and the team should be restored to it's original state and set as a SIM.

I can actually find several clauses in the Fair Play Guidelines that you seem to have violated.  For example:

"For the balance and enjoyment of the world and its participants, however, it is not permitted to intentionally field an overly atrocious team when a much better team could have been assembled at the same cost and time commitment. For instance, it's no more difficult to field a healthy team in Hardball Dynasty that can win 50 games than it is to field a team that can win 30 games."

I really don't care what you've done in the past, what you did just now IS CLEARLY a violation of the fair play guidelines.  Following which is required in the Terms of Service.  I'm sorry you feel wronged by the game.  You may have a point; I think nearly everyone agrees the system didn't work right for you.  I do too...  Regardless, you didn't have to reduce the competitiveness of your conference and doing so was a violation.  How do you intend to make that 26th postseason?  With 9 walk-ons?  Or maybe 6 or 7 freshmen and a couple of walk-ons?  Explain that one to me again.

If you cut you star players and purposely killed your team because you are ****** off, then you are WRONG.  That is called Roster Dumping and is absolutely against the Fairplay guidelines.

You know that the hiring policy is mainly the last 4 years.

Because you get ****** off, you decided to kill your team for the next coach.  This is a classless act.  I hope WIS bans you, if you indeed did it.

In case you are wondering, here is the Fairplay Guidelines, and if you are roster dumping then you should be ashamed of yourself.

With 25 post-seasons, of course you've won enough to change schools.  I think everyone agrees on that.   I wish WIS would change the promotion logic but, until they do, only the last 4 seasons are considered. That's unfortunate.
