just to clarify, weeks one and two are open to be scheduled against non-PSO teams, yes?  I just don't want to screw up the PSO scheduling.

Yes you can use slot 1 and 2

Waiting for tnto to confirm. Mary Washington is out so I need to get one owner to replace them to continue with ten teams. I sent out some invites to fill it and add interest for future seasons. We should get back to pool play next year with 12 teams. I will have the schedule up tommorrow if everything goes well.

I'm in if you need anyone else!

Elmira had someone in Week 4 already so I sent an offer for Week 2 instead..hope that works..

Oh and sorry to those of you who i sent two offer to, i read the schedule backwards..my mindset is Team #1 @ Team 2...my bad!

That is good. He messed up and scheduled in spot 7 too, So Hope will get that forfiet win. Hopefully I can get him to follow only the schedule.
11/9/2010 3:36 PM
So I'm free to schedule spot 7 as I see fit?
11/15/2010 2:19 AM
Yeah go ahead and schedule spot 7 to yourself. Elmira did not follow the schedule at all so that sucks. He only has three Shooout  games scheduled. Sorry about that guys. Garmansouth would have been a great addition to the tourney. Anyone who has Elmira on thier schedule is now open to play another game at that spot.

My question to everyone is: Should the three games Elmira did schedule(2. @Rockford, 5. @Wisc-Oshkosh, and 8. vs Wis-Stout) count to the shootout scores and everything else is a forfiet win? Or should none of the Elmira games matter to the tourney, meaning no forfeits and everything based on the other 7 games?

Also there is alot of interest going forward so hopefully this wont happen in the future.

I would say if we have someone who messes up just one game then we can just forfeit the one that they failed to schedule and keep them in the Shootout. But if they've managed to schedule only half their games I'd just as well say don't count any of the matches against them.

Basically play as if Elmira wasn't a part of the tourney.

Sounds good. That is what I was going to say also. Just wanted to make sure I was not alone on that opinion.

The shoot out starts with some close games.

Long time PSO's participants #13 Eastern and  Richard Stockton fought into the final seconds. Eastern made crucial FT's to win it 79-76, even with Stockton SG Clifford Clement making 8 three's and scoring 29 points.

#3 Hope shows they might take home the championship this year in a big win over William Paterson. Hope shoot 55% and pulled down 37 rebounds to WPU's 46% and 29 boards. Maurice Foster scored 21 points form the bench to lead Hope.

Rockford got within 2 points in the final seconds at Wisconsin-Stout, but the Blue devils kept hitting their final 8 FT's to secure the win 75-67. They shoot 18-22 from the line as a team during the game.  Rockford kept trying to shoot over the zone but the shots would not fall. Kevin White lead UW-Stout with  18 points.

Blackburn beats Wisconsin-Oshkosh 77-64 using a 23-11 run in the final 10 minutes. The game was close until then, both teams trading baskets. The game changed when Oshkosh guard William Sarver picked up his 4th foul. Blackburn's James Williamson had a great game with 16 rebounds and 17 points.
