Re the low post, you will be lucky if #2 spends more than one season of his career with a better LP number than #1.

Really depends on whether the LP is high high (and how high high it is) or just High. If it's high end of high high, I think he can easily be in the 40s-50s by SR year. Case in point, this guy:

I like them both.  I see player 1 more as a SF.  I would use player 2 at PG or SG with a r/s.   Would definately target #2 first.
Well #2 was already signed when I made this, just to see what others would do. No RS is possible since I signed him from NJ and he's in Hawaii. With just 1 scholarship, I had to offer start + min as my budget can't even cover a CV after doing my usual FSS.

press: 30/90, any other def: 60/60

don't see how it can be any other way.
That's what I think too.

in the old engine i would say 90/30 by a mile. but i guess i was only playing press then. still, on offense spd seemed a lot more important than ath. i think ath has increased in importance significantly for guards on offense in this new engine. so i think its a lot closer. but i would still take 90/30.

I'm a 30/90 guy in most situations.

That guy's work ethic is much higher.  Plus, here he is, with a season and a half left and he has just matched recruit #1.  Where exactly did his LP start?  He has also been given a lot of playing time, which will make a big difference.  If you are planning on playing your guy as much, that will improve the odds.  All in all, I stand by statement.
