1st round being dominated by the big men. I went back and forth between LeBron and Moses at number 3.  In the end I love the flexibility LeBron gives me.

Yeah there's an Ashland in lots of places!

I thought the Admiral was too early, until I remember that I'm pretty sure whoever drafted him with the 2.0 restart won the title in the first year. The rebounding is lighter than you'd like - but otherwise he's awesome.

And the Mailman should warrant a high pick, but he always seems to let me down. Great longevity.

I like the Russell pick a lot for this league.

Yeah I got Robinson I think around 10 and along with somebody not picked yet did win v.2.0. Stay in contention each year but had Wilt in my division.

Yeah, looking through the UPL history indicates that your division and competition matter a lot. Has there ever been a scenario where owners made changes to roster to beat particular conference foes? (Although that would be a folly given how random the SIM is.)

There are two top-seven picks from the v2.0 draft still available after 15 picks.  I can't believe either will fall to me at #19, but I'll sure as heck take either if they do.

Question: Is there a process for picking which City we're going to play in?  Is it first-come on cities?  I assume the city we pick determines what division/conference we'll be in.  Will others know who picks what before they decide?  Sorry to ask so many dumb questions.

Divisions have been randomly determined in the past.  I ran v2.0 restart, and it was randomized.  Cities weren't limited, so long as it was the typical City Nicknmae format.  I'm guessing ncih will do much the same this time.

Surprised to see Dirk go so early.

I am doing divisions geographically.

I will start a thread.

Magic has been the steal of the draft.  UVA had him so much earlier last time and dominated... but then again, uva IS uva.  Also, last time the engine was new and people didn't know what they were doing when they drafted.

Pettit - wow.
Dirk?!  I started to say wow again... but... ok, I'm just gonna do it.  Wow.

Lol ash. Agreed. Magic at 19 is great, though he probably wouldn't make my top 15.

He was in my top 10.  There's no real disputing Wilt/MJ/Kareem.  I also had Shaq, Moses & Lebron ahead of Magic.  Then Magic, then Admiral.  Barkley and Mailman round out my top 10.  Sad that Olajuwon was so good IRL yet doesn't have the dominant sim statistics, because he should be in that top 10 (and by 10, I mean five).

out of curiosity, where do you rank olajuwon within the sim?
