LOL. There might be a bit of truth to that. :-)
I also enjoy watching teams over the years like Butler, Michigan State, etc, where all 5 guys rebound together and regularly have guards lead them in rebounding in a particular game.
For what it's worth, MSU hasn't had a guard average over 2.8 RPG since Shannon Brown in 2005-2006.
I'm sure there have been 7/8 rebound games here and there, but it's nowhere near "regularly leading" the team in rebounding.
