League sounds a bit more interesting...I am definately interested...Let me see if I can get a team together over the weekend or first part of next week

I'm intrigued.  This will be my first sim basketball season, so I'm still looking around...  I was born in feb '75 so I'd be a 74-75 and then 92-93...

That would be '68 and '86 for me.  Not electrifying but intriguing.  I'll play with it.  Is the purported commish down with this idea, though?  He hasn't piped up since the opening post.

I have my team ready, just waiting for the league to fill.

You will use the 69-70 season

seems like it should come down to when you were born.  If you were born july or later, use the 69-70.  If you were born june or before, use the 68-69.  That's my opinion.

That's a good idea ashamael. I will allow that. With 23 spots left I want to get this league started soon. I have redone it twice to work out kinks that it had near two weeks ago. I hope after this post the rules are clear and understandble to all. Thanks

Ok great Im born June 1969, so I will use 68-69 and then 87-88 for my gradution year 1987

The more I tinker the more I realize the seasons available to me are not very strong.  Still thinking this over...

LTB your the same years as me, think I got a good team but almost no threes is the issue

madcow - Please update your original post with any new clarifications or rules.  New people to this post shouldn't have to read everything to get up to speed.  If born Feb 75 means 74-75 season, and July 75 means 75-76 season, give those examples in the original rules.

Also, when people say they are interested, create a list 1-24 with their name.  This way you know when you have 24 and you can follow up until all teams are in.  Makes it easier to know how many more spots until the league fills.  I'm new to simleague basketball, pretty versed in sim baseball...

I'm interested in this league but have a question. I was born in '45 so would I only be able to use players from my graduation year which was '63? If so, the starting 5 on my team, Wilt, Robertson, Pettit, Baylor, and Hal Greer add up to $47.1 mil. So the higher caps mentioned would be much better. This salary is based on using '63-'64 sence I was born in July. If I used '62-'63 it would be about $1 mil higher. Have you settled on the cap yet and if so how high is it?

Yes the cap is 49 million.
