I am waiting to hear back from just three managers right now.  I'd like to propose that we get started "officially" on a time table no later than Friday, April 1.  Anyone who has not reported back by that time will get a good pick made for them (by me I guess) so that they don't fall behind.  For those of you who have reported, I won't make picks for you and it will be your responsibility to get them in as soon as you can, or ask someone to proxy for you.   If anyone starts to fall really far behind, I will use my discretion to decide whether to pick on their behalf and try to catch them up.  I remind everyone that one manager who signed up in the forum has asked to be relieved of his team so I am looking for a new owner.

Depending on the D ratings, I have a feeling the Canucks may just kill everyone in the dollar value rankings.

Also; I haven't heard back yet from Yzermans4, so these early picks will probably stop after god_mike.  Bad luck for the others waiting there turn but lets give yzermans4, taybaijor, and isles911 another day.  Anyone in a league with them might want to tell them to check the Forum.  I also still need another manager or I will be taking a third team.  Nobody wants that.

I've heard from everyone but Yzermans4, so the draft is stalled for the moment.  If I don't hear something during the day on Friday, someone can make an 8:15 p.m. for him and the draft can proceed on from there and finish off the night.  I say "someone" because (ironically) I won't be able to monitor this at that time.  Masquerade has offered to take a second team so he will pick again at 10 p.m. in peter_puck's spot.

I'm in a league with yzermans and will post a message in the league forum.

Of course picking the next, best player varies on your strategy and what the WIS database eventually says, but if we don't hear from Yzermans4 by 8:15 I propose we give him Patrick Sharp - LW.  If his time slot passes without a word from him just assume Sharp is now gone and the draft can proceed normally until 10 p.m.  Tomorrow we can toss yzermans4 another bone and hope he finds us.  Everybody fine with that?

If we launch, it will be a miracle.
