RPI #1 and no CT bye Topic

Five in the tourney, but the weird part is that UML and WCUP (RPIs 2 and 7) are 3 seeds, WVW (RPI 3) is a 2.  I guess you just have to win the CT to get a 1-seed.
Top three seeds in Lowell's bracket: RPI 4, 5, 2.  In WCUP's, 9, 13, 7.  Balaaaaaaaaance.

You don't have to win the CT (and you know that), but it sure does help.

I don't think those seeds are all that weird.  Sort of reminds me of Allen D3 in season 34.

Heading into the tourney that season my conference's division (NAC South) had the following teams:

UMPI, 14-2
Thomas, 14-2
Maine Maritime Academy, 10-6

MMA pulled off the mini-miracle and won the CT.  With a RPI of 4, MMA received a 1 seed.

UMPI with a 6 RPI ended up with a 3 seed.  Thomas with a 1 RPI ended up with a 4 seed.

A bit odd, but those kind of "crazy" results are going to happen when you have three (or more) really good teams in the same division.

This is the second season in the last three that my RPI's been closer to 0 than my seed.  Grr.

cornfused, I think the problem is the caliber of DI team you beat in the preseason.  The committee wants you to do better.
