10-11 howard can get 30ppg.  27.4% usage, 60% fg%, 2900+ minutes.  He's very similar to 87-88 Barkley offensively.

assists... you've got me.  But he's so superior at rebounding that I'm okay with that.

Shaq > Admiral imo... Admiral's best all-around seasons are tier 3 usage, while Shaq's are tier 2.  Makes building team lot easier.  If you're in an OL environment where you can pair Admiral with Rodman, then that's different.

Shaq can single-handedly lose games for you with the FTA's, and I really try to avoid high negatives where ever possible.

Of course Robertson has the high turnover negative, but for the minutes not too awful.


Of course my thinking still tends to be governed by baseball, where 25 slightly above average guys will get you WS appearances- much more so than 10 superstars and 15 bums who can struggle to .500.

I would say that out of my 26 'ships, I've been in the bottom 6 in ft% in 20 of them.  Yeah, missed free throws suck... but so does foul trouble... and Shaq is badass for getting opponent into foul trouble.

hmmm i dunno about 10-11 howard getting 30(sounds like a challenge for you ash haha)...but im def not comparing shaq and howard here...both are top 10 imo...and if i had to choose between them im prob gonna pick howard....just think its nuts shaq fell to 20

I whole-heartedly agree that 20 is too low.  Other than a few guys (Jordan, Lebron, Rodman), I'm building my team around a dominant paint scorer if I have a top 10 pick.

It'd be no problem to get him 30 per.  I have a 91 Barkley (2498 minutes) averaging 31 per right now.  I actually am considering building my next OL team around that Howard... though I've been wanting to make one around MJ for a while...

**** poor rebounding the last 3 ODLs..... and that includes one with Wilt and another with Dwight Howard.  Gonna work the usage% a bit different and focus on boards a bit more.  I think his value is up despite his def rates.  I still think Def Ratings are just  fodder (similar to Big Foot).  Some people think its real.... but not me.  ;o)

My center won't get 30 every night, but he should be good for about 5-10 triple doubles and even scare a quad double

As scud said, I passed up on one of the 'greats'. . .I almost picked Garnett, but Love is just. . .sexy.

I took Guards in the 1st two rounds. It seems just wrong somehow, but I really like the idea of building the insane scoring team.... which I am just about commited to at this point.
