Screw calhoop.  I am going to embrace Gus Weyhing and use him as my 4th starting pitcher. 

Instead, I refuse to play a D-/D- at 3B (or 1B) all year, so I will take the cheap version of...

It seems that we are likely to catch up to the schedule soon.   I'll try and post the next day's time slots as soon as they're determined.   If you are going to be unavailable when your time slot comes up, please leave a proxy with me (or another owner).  Or you can simply make up your pick as soon as you are able.

I don't think one round per day is all that much to ask.  In past 16x16 drafts, we've averaged as many as 20 picks per day.

I don't recall any of Whitehill's seasons costing upwards of $10mil.  Some guys are going to be stuck with a colossally expensive mopup man, or they're going to get murdered 25-12 every 3rd or 4th day.

I'm not even going to worry about teammates that much in this draft.  I'm going to focus on roster/finance management for my 16 mandatory guys, then pick the best of their teammates.

I don't care if I do get stuck with an expensive/crappy Weyhing.  In what other theme does a relatively obscure 1880's pitcher get to be the center of attention?  I love this league.
