I would miss the comeraderie. But yea. It has become apparent that this is the business owned by an entity that doesn't give two craps.

And when that happens, it's just a matter of time.

I would suspect that the few groups of someones that like to organize and run respective leagues will eventually tire of it. And they'll either leave outright, or find a new product and take their loyal minions there.

Or, life goes on, and people will gravitate to something else.

But it's been near 10 years since I first started playing games on this, and what kept me were 3 things;

-great product
-great service
-great people playing the game and great times interacting with them

#2 is gone. Like, no brainer gone.

Which means, eventually, #1 will be gone. Can't have great product without great service.

And then falls domino #3.

I don't think I'm Chicken Little on this one. Almost from the day Tarek was bought out, it's been on the slippery slope.

Now over 72 hours with no response or even acknowledgement that they have looked at a high-priority ticket.

Hey...at least your ticket is still in the queue. I've put a few in that are just deleted. My guess is they got themselves Ignatius Reilly at the helm.

Are you sure you fully submitted the tickets? When they instituted a two-step process to submit them, a lot of people didn't realize that after submitting the ticket, they have to confirm that they really, truly, honestly want to submit the ticket they just submitted. After initially submitting, you get a follow-up screen with incredibly helpful FAQs that have nothing to do with your issue, and you have to scroll down past them and hit submit again.

This makes me sad.  I love this game and the thought of them stopping support and dropping the game is terrible.

Nonetheless, this particular case is not a good sign of things to come.   Maybe I'll buy HBD from FOX.   Then you'll get replies to your tickets.  Most will be "STFU, 'tard" as that is probably appropriate 90% of the time.

I have, and have never taken an indignant attitude toward CS. I have also pointed out obvious errors/bugs that were ignored.
