I'm in Massachusetts so I might be out of the loop for a bit as well.

I don't want to change this forum into hurricane stories, but I have lost power twice this afternoon (in central Virginia), the longest for about 15 minutes.  The full force of Irene is supposed to hit here late tonight, and we already have high winds and heavy rain.  [After Hurricane Isabel in 2003, I lost power for 11 days.]
