What is White?

white = black --- > when you are looking at the practice page and see the players ratings on the right.  I believe it is simply white because of the black background on that page.

Black equals white?  White equals black?  I'll take your word for it.

But you sure sound like a politician. :)

Or some crooked WIS programmer.  :)   Or the one that says....the more I try to improve the game, the more issues come up.

Eight percent of the population is color blind, but of course the other 92 % have to suffer because of them?   Is it economically intelligent for WIS?

Blue instead of green makes you 'suffer'?  Really?

Yes, we have to suffer a switch from green meaning high potential to blue meaning high potential. Everyone at WiS understands what a sacrifice of this nature means, and we honestly hope you'll stick with us as we make this transition to a brave new world.

Maybe if the sacrifice is too great, you should stop playing.

If my sarcasm sensors aren't firing yet or you are trying to make a funny or something (try harder) but my bad. If you are serious, you can always GTFO.

Thanks for continuing to totaly ignore the NBA SIM users seble.  We're totally used to it by now.

Again appologies to the Dynasty posters, but at least seble checks here, which is more than he's done to any thread in the Baseketball SIM area in goodness knows how long, and I wanted to remind him we're still alive, and would appreciate if he'd check in and at least officially tell us he's letting the game die a slow death and that there will never again be any updates.

so i have a player that i recruited who was listed as average potential in one of his ratings. 1st exhibition game is done, and without improving up a point, he is now listed as low potential. anyone know why that might be???

Stay off the road and by chance do need to get on the road, stay away from any intersections with traffic lights.

My guess would be it has to do with the unseen decimal that all those ratings have (what you see is the closest whole number, but 50 LP could be 49.78 or 50.14, for example. So it could be a case where the kid had a potential that was extremely close to the average/low borderline, has improved by, say, 0.25 and is now under the "average" threshold but not enough to bump the rating by a point yet.

Thank you for finally fixing this issue, as another red-green color blind person this past recruiting season was a whole lot easier for me. Had my best recruiting class yet at the d1 level, coincidence....hmmm

I kinda miss green (even though I hate green) - it just looks weird with blue. I'm glad that more folks can actually read it now though!

any chance there will be a way to tell the difference between low potential and completely maxed out?
12/9/2011 10:01 AM
I don't like the idea of knowing when a player is completely maxed out... in real life a player doesn't say "coach, I have maxed out FT shooting, you should have me work on something else"

That's why traffic signals always go in the same order - there aren't any lights that have red on top.  So color-blind people just think, top means stop, bottom means go.  Red's on the left on horizontal signals.

Plus, they're different hues or saturations or whatever.
