Part One of the Brutally Honest Reviews
jethoeg - Magic Johnson, Spencer Haywood, John Havlicek, Patrick Ewing, David Thompson
This team has me wondering what the plan is here, and I have settled on the fact that there is no plan whatsoever. Magic is great, but there is too much usage here, and too many weird pieces. All of the good that Magic brings to this team gets negated by the usage of the other guys. Seriously you have Hondo that does everything but shoot well, and then you have Skywalker that does nothing but shoot well. Not close to the amount of threes needed, and Ewing is going to be foul prone so you are going to need more center minutes.

bluenote75 - LeBron James, Tyson Chandler, Buck Williams, Joe Johnson, Charlie Edge
I hate Joe Johnson, but I love a lot of what this team has. I am assuming LBJ is going to be the PG, and as good as he is you may be a little short on assists, but rebounding will be very solid. I am a big, big Edge fan in the sim and while I hate Johnson I think this is the type of team that can support a one dimensional scorer very well

ncih - Wilt Chamberlain, Mel Daniels, Mookie Blaylock, Cedric Maxwell, Derek Harper
Usage is lower than you should have in this league if you are using the version of Wilt I think you are. This team is a beast on the boards and shoot be a great shooting squad. Honestly I think that you will turn around the usage thing and this team will be very, very formidable. This team could use a few more threes, especially if that is a high usage guy…that would be nice

xxevilivexx - Dennis Rodman, Shawn Kemp, Bill Walton, Joakim Noah, Paul Pressey
Deron Williams would have been a MUCH better pick here than Noah. I understand the importance of rebounding, but when you go after a Walton you are forcing yourself to have to find another guy so you do have that huge rebounding drop off. Usually explains why I never pick him. You are so low on assists that I am not sure where you are going to go from here, I know who I would take if I was you, but I never understand why you do what you do. You sir are an enigma, wrapped in burrito, deep fried like a churro, and smothered in queso….I need Mexican food.

mikee1 - Dwight Howard, Marcus Camby, Ray Allen, Donyell Marshall
A big trade with scud gives you a pretty sick start to your team. D12 is a beast in virtually every way you need him to be, Camby gives you tons of rebounding, Marshall does a million things without screwing up the team vibe and Ray Ray is going to give you D and threes. Man I hope you f up the last three picks…EPICALLY

scudmissle - Michael Jordan, Anfernee Hardaway, Pau Gasol, Shane Battier, Troy Murphy, Clifford Ray
Giving MJ rebounding, and more rebounding can’t be a bad idea right? I really like this team. This is another team that I feel needs just that one piece that is still out there, and I really hope you don’t get it, and if you do I hope you are in another conference. The only piece of this team I question is Battier, it’s not hate him as much as it is that I think you could have done better.

jayharvill - Moses Malone, Kevin Durant, Wes Unseld, Rajon Rondo, Gheorghe Muresan
Good usage separation. I love Durant with this squad, but I hate the lack of threes at this point. It is a good thing that Rondo isn’t the mental case in the sim that he is IRL. Rebounding is here and the defense is pretty good. I will be very interested to see how this squad fills out (which is really a bullshit statement…I am interested to find out how all of these teams fill out…I am a dipshit) mainly to see what support KD is going to get

captainzen - Charles Barkley, Kevin McHale, Fat Lever, Bob Lanier, Joe Dumars
Barkley and McHale….what a ******* hack. If you were a comedian you would be Carlos Mencia or Robin Williams; a joke thief that still kills every time. I am messing with you bro. This team can do everything except shoot the three. I understand the obsession with rebounds, but you have to have the threes to really make it happen in this league. Look at the past champions…a good solid mix of rebounding and threes. I do like to see that you have taken the time to pay attention to your core team before trying to play fill in the blanks

vancem - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Clyde Drexler, Marques Johnson, Terry Porter, Joel Przybilla
I hate Cap. He absolutely kills me every time I use him. Plus he was a ***** IRL (see about his part in the famous Kermit Washington/Rudy Tomjanovich incident). However, this team should be solid all-around. Good rebounding, assists, 3’s, usage is solid, and good shooters. Defense is good too. I like this team as a unit…good synergy here.

malone9975 – Larry Bird, Kevin Love, Robert Parish, Darrell Walker, Deron Williams
I do not feel comfortable rating my own team. It has nothing to do with morals or ethics. I just personally, as a fan, like all of these guys which is making me feel as though I will not be able to be objective about this squad.
logain - Shaquille O'neal, Oscar Robertson, Alonzo Mourning, Wesley Person, Anthony Mason
You know if fouls and turnovers weren’t real stats this team would be killer. Plus I am still ****** that you got Wesley Person. Zo kills me with the fouls whenever I use him (I usually pick the season that I am going to use of him take 10% of his total minutes and try to draft that many more center minutes when using him…this is also my rule if I have Dream or Ewing as well)
C
katernberg - David Robinson, Elvin Hayes, Gerald Wallace, Grant Hill, Brandon Roy
Is this like in school when you multiply two negatives (Hayes and Hill) to get a positive? The answer is NO. Hayes, Roy, and Hill will steal all of the good things (except defense and rebounding) that the Admiral brings you. I love Wallace and Roy, but all the usage you have really undermines drafting David Robinson in the first place.
