well, its been like 3 games, maybe 4, since i looked at him. sample size should be going down only somewhat but still, its getting up there... anyway in the last 3 games hes still under 50%. but thats 1-5 from 3pt and 10-18 from 2 point land. the thing that worries me a bit is even against sim baylor, he went 3-7 and 0-1...
i will probably get shot down for saying this, but there has always been something a little funny about these kinds of players in the flex offense, for me at least. its not like i never played it - played it enough to win 3 - but i still never could wrap my head around what made it tick. i do feel strongly that guards are very much able to jack up 3s, but the rest of the team? i don't know. maybe that is holding him back a bit. i definitely would not move him to C, per to me is damn near useless at C, in any set. ive had success with PFs like this in motion, and in triangle, but at UK i ran flex and was always frustrated - i had thought this kind of player was exactly what i wanted, i mean how can he not be? look how good he is. but he never seemed to click like i wanted. maybe its just my experience though. i don't think trying him at SF is a bad idea inherently, but i havent looked at the rest of your team to see if that is viable or not.
anyway, one thing i did notice that could be a factor, although it might be a bit of a longshot, is your team 3s are low. no way, with your team, running flex no less, would i expect to see that few 3s. aside from making you a weaker club and easier to game plan against, it might be the case that without substantial 3 point threats out there, he is getting guarded when he takes his 3s more so than a PF normally would? a similar effect definitely exists with FGs, at least i think so, but i have nothing to base it on with respect to 3s (i always take a lot anyway). stupid internet is out, so i am just typing this blind off what i remember so i can post it later when it comes back - your only major per/spd player had like 50 lp i think. those guys tend to have really good 2 pt %s that make you not want to take away from them with a + 3 point setting. so i usually don't - but that is based on trying to edge down my overall 3 point shooting in the first place. if i was trying to make it go up, i wouldn't hesitate to toss that guy a +1 or +2. wish i could see his fg% vs 3pt% now though.... and also maybe your sf could go to a -1 or something? if hes not already?
so, in summary, i am grasping at straws. but i would try to up your total 3pta.
