ars, great advice but I think I only have to skip those threads once or twice a month and I can deal with that.  :)

I see you guys say LP does matter for guards, my question is HOW much would you say it matters? Thanks.

If you're at a big, obvious talent disadvantage in a game, play slowdown. -  in most cases this is true, but it will also depend on the off / def sets you are playing with & against.

You can set all your players to zero distribution if you want to find out who the SIM thinks your best scorers are. - never heard this before. can anyone confirm?
i won the d3 national title in knight without setting distro

if you want your guard to have an inside game, it - along with ath and bh - matters.

If you have more than six open scholarships, you will only get recruiting cash for six slots (plus tournament bonus and any carry-over cash you may have had).

Maybe change my last one, or add this -

It takes 7 minutes to guaranteed maintain any category except lp/per. It takes 3 for lp/per. Of course, the required # is lower with better work ethic or more playing time. Also, 0 minutes can safely be used to maintain capped out categories.

many times I set my distro to 0 for my entire non-conference schedule. if anything, it identifies who your best AND worst scorers are. Because the sim may have one guy going 1 for 6 or 3 for 11 every night... and then other players going 3 for 5 or 2 for 3 (and 7 of 8) from the line. So it is your job to fix your distro where those former players have lower distro and the latter players have higher distro.

I should clarify it - You can set all your players to zero distribution if you want to find out who the Sim AI coach thinks your best scorers are.  Note: Sim AI may or may not be right.

How about, "The character issues in the scouting trips are window dressing."

Maybe a list of all things that are just window dressing...

I won 3 national titles that way. And it doesn't, it just was super balanced. I only had 1 guy average over 10 PPG (11) and the rest of the team between 4-9, In my experience the +/- def settings played a real big role in who scored that night. If someone went -5 on me then my team shot a ton of 3's (20+) and if they went +5 we shot like 8, but my bigs had a huge night at the foul line. If you have a balanced team it works great. It countered any sort of set that they tried to run at me, but that doesn't always mean your best player matchup wise is the one who was taking the most shots.
