Heartland Conference (Iba) may not have the gaudy numbers of some of the others mentioned but, for consistency, it can't be topped.

In 55 seasons, the Heartland has only finished out of the top three in season #6 (we were 5th);   #24 (6th) ; and #34 (7th). We've placed at least 5 times in the post-season for 30 consecutive years. 
 This season may be our best ever. We currently have 8 teams in the 2nd round of the NT with three #1 seeds.  A 9th team, Sim-coached, lost in the 1st round.

False advertising at it's finest. The So. Cal in Knight is the best D3 conference of all time, D1 coaches drop down to be a part of it. I have no problem if you say the 2nd best, however.
