For the last time: boosters aren't breaking the rules of HD.  They're BUILT INTO THE GAME.
No one thought that they were breaking the rules of HD.
I get grumpy sometimes.  Whenever people talk about admitting them on the forums being a bad thing, they're implying that the user could get in trouble.  Meh, forget it.

I never got a response back when I tried to use them, is this normal?
Do you have extra seasons on your account?  If you did not get a responce it means you did not send them.  You need xtra season to send gifts
I don't think I did. Must be the reason then, thanks.

I remember lostmyth saying something about clues in the personality test being something that helps coaches successfully use boosters. Never tried it though.

That is exactly it.  They are not worth the cost in most cases.  I have and do occasionally use them.

This, by the way.  I've been caught... twice?  Three times?  I forget.  But I have gotten away with them before.

I think I have been caught 3 or 4 times myself.  Id say I get away with them 50% of the time roughly.

Taking a wild guess at translating, what does a booster gift compare to (i.e. $10,000 booster gift = 10 campus visits?)

Gotta love autocorrect (swype is the worst) and failing to proofread...
What is the relative recruiting value of the gifts.

Depends on what gift you give. The smallest gift carries about a year of probation; largest gift maybe some restrictions on scholarships, possible postseason ban.

Oh, you meant with the recruits?? I have no idea...
