According to the April 30, 2012 issue of Sports Illustrated, 8.9% of all players in MLB history have batted against Jamie Moyer.

Think about it . . . that's kind of mind blowing.
Which along with his 268 wins and 2420 K's proves the longevity argument that 300 wins and 3000K are easy to get to if you stick around long enough.  Glavine in a FRAUD!!!!

Somehow missed this the other day, but when Moyer gave up a grand slam to Giancarlo Stanton earlier this week, it made for the largest age gap between a pitcher and batter hitting a homer off him (ten days shy of 27 years).

When Stanton was born, Moyer had already given up 68 major league homers.

Explain how this proves the longevity argument. Moyer has been around since the stone age and STILL has not hit 300 wins or 3000 Ks. Clearly longevity alone does not do it.

He used the Phillies to jack up his price to sign w/ the Mets. Both parties GWTD....... 61-56 in 5 seasons w/ an era tickling 4.

YES, I still holds a little grudge.....
