I have found that the good teams xcel in both guess ratings and the team rankings, so I try to hit a "happy" medium between the two.

Sometimes, the only way to learn things is trial and error.  Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.  Please update this thread in a few seasons when the results of this little experiment start to show up.

For what it's worth, the DL in question got a rare chance to play in a goal line situation and stuffed the RB on a 4th and goal and secured the win.  Haha!

GUESS does not take into account future potential, it is used only as an preliminary evaluation of teams and recruiting classes. And to to be entirely honest it is the most precise tool we have. So take it as you will, do I base my teams or recruiting classes off of it? no... But it's at lot better than "Collegiate insider" LOL
