Yep got it fixed. Can't even tell it split. Greg Voros from Gruen Guitars in Nashville did the work for me like he said he would. He put a new set of strings on for me to try. They're called Dragon Skins and they are sweet. They are what coated strings should sound like. Very warm and don't feel clunky. Best of the coated ones I've played so far. Slides are easy. Sound broken in from the get go.
Was gone for a while. Recruit was under 200 miles away and I ended up spending $16000 to get him. It ****** me off and I wasn't about to let a SIM get him. I was yellow with the SIM from the 2nd cycle.
