That actually says nothing. All it says is you learned and accepted the many inaccuracies of the game. You paid the money and dealt with it. Some of us watch college basketball and want it more realistic. Obviously the game is doing well enough to pay the bills but if it wants to really grow it needs to make improvements. Many don't stay because they don't want to pay for BS. It's cronies like you who aren't an honest thinker but would rather die for this game the way it is in it inaccuracies
So a college team would be upset if they shot 50% from the field and went to the line 41 times?

And speaking of realism, when's the last time a college team didn't shoot any 3s...what's that phrase again? Oh right, keeping the defense honest.

Clearly they didn't get easy basket on your 19 t/os, because they only shot 29/64, 45%. If those 19 t/os generated into 15 easy layups (assuming no putbacks), it would mean the team was 14/45, a dismal 31%. If the 19 t/os led to 10 easy baskets (which wouldn't be easy baskets by your metric, considering you think 50% is low...), the team is still only 19/45, or 42% on the shots not generated via t/o.

The turnover differential was 6 in their favor, but you won the rebounding margin by 5, fg% by 4.7%, 16 extra free throws, and won the foul battle by -11.

Honestly, if you shot 5-10 3s, or ran uptempo (get your opponent deeper into foul trouble and force the FR to play more minutes), you would have won by 5-10 points.

And no, you would not shoot 20% from the 3pt line with players sub 65 per. You would shoot something like 28-35% with per around 60.

First off, it's "you're". When you call someone a "flippin retard", you might want to double check things like that. Or maybe you just didn't know.

Next, I never said this was your first season. Obviously you have accumulated such a wealth of knowledge in this being your 4th season that it would be foolish of me to point out your lack of experience. And in those monstrously educational seasons for you where you weathered through losses you had no business losing, I'm sure there wasn't a single instance where you beat a team you should have lost to on paper. Odd you didn't post after one of those games.

Anyways, I'll let you continue with your rambling about how wrongly you have been treated. Maybe WIS could hire you, I'm sure you're all that's missing with these radical ideas of the FCP being broken. How has no one come up with that theory yet? It's uncanny. And your amazing idea of bringing realism to the game, like where upsets would only happen in favor of the home team. Wow! I can only dream of such "improvements" to this game. /sarcasm

I think the reason that most people who have been around for a while discount arguments that the press is dominant is that the press used to be a dominant defense but it's not anymore. For me, the shift away from the press happened with the February 2011 update. There was a small change to stamina that made a big difference. Before the update, teams could go 11 or 12 deep and run other teams down, forcing a lot of turnovers and fouls. It's hard to push opposing players into the red (chicken) now unless there are foul or serious depth issues (egg) first.*

Since 2/11, I have shifted more toward M2M. I think since 2/11, the defenses have been pretty close. I like M2M more in part because of another adjustment from the 2/11 update. The FG percentages were tweaked down due to high (unrealistic) scoring. My championship team shortly before the update averaged around 100 ppg. Teams can't consistently get there now. Although the engine logic pushed down FG%, it had less of an impact on 3PT%. Post-2/11, teams can find a lot of success by shooting 40%+ from outside. M2M offers the ability to double-team, which is nice if an opposing team has only 1 or 2 shooters.

In my earlier post, I address the press and 3-point shooting, because for me they are linked by the 2/11 update. I may be somewhat wrong on all of this, but I have won championships with this line of thinking.

*This assumes that the egg came first. Being a huge fan of chickens (Go Gamecocks!), you will have to trust me that the egg did in fact come before the chicken.

Dude you have all of 4 seasons in this game. I still consider myself fairly new where a lot of the guys here you are attempting to insult have been playing this game for years!. How did you who has yet to play long enough to experience an Engine update or remember when high potential was green say the game isnt realistic enough? It's as realistic as numbers and formulas will allow. No its not perfect but even if it were someone would still find something to ***** about. I knew once you posted this thread you'd get ripped because frankly its a true newby post. But your lack of humility is only blinding you to the fact that 4 seasons is no where near close enough to diagnose anything about WIS.

In all seriousness, whitey...I don't know what you're thinking. You have managed to deride some of the most kind and helpful people on these forums. If you don't like this game, go somewhere else. People with your sort of attitude do nothing to improve this game or this community. Peace.
