Well, I am coming with you then Emy. I live in Montréal, so I want a place where I go often, which is Burlington Vermont! I am going to build that program. Patriot will be where I land. Unless I go to MEAC, it's active.

KBC : I am doing good in DII, but still struggling in DIII. I found DIII tougher because of the importance of recruiting. In DII, coaching has more impact since you can build a team that you like. In DIII, if your defense is below average, you can have the best offense in the world, it won't cut it. I am trying press in DII and started two projects, probably will drop one since it comes down to the same thing. My man to man and zone teams in DII, after making mistakes over mistakes, are doing a lot better. I hope to take the next step in the next seasons. One thing I did not expect was that recruiting logic : do you go 4 seniors, 3 juniors, 3 sophomores, 2 freshmen... or you go with the big year 6,6,0,0... Plus, you have to plan to fill out your positions. It takes skills and planning. I am at that Learning step right now.

I think it's personal preference. That's what I like about the game. Every coach recruits to what makes sense to them. My teams emphasize certain things that others will not. For me. I hate hate hate really down years. I prefer to never have more than 4 in any given class. It's one of my rules. It's so difficult to replace 5 guys at once. The best team I ever had (31-1) reached a #1 seed, #1 ranking (no title though) and had only 3 seniors. Of course those seniors were all guards.

Anyway good luck. I was just in Montreal and Burlington a few months ago coincidentally. Even though I live out west.
