Sounds fun. I'm not a veteran coach, but would definitely like to take part in something like this. If it specifically took place in just D3 for the allotted time, I think it would be a great challenge. I've never moved past D3, besides one season where I grabbed a stacked D2 team a couple of year ago. I'd like to see how well I could do against some of the great coaches, especially where I would have an advantage over them.

you could stay in D3 the whole time and try for the D3 achievements, or move up and go for others - there are probably 1000s of possibilities...

I think there are enough positive responses to explore this more. I will work some stuff up and post more polls soonish (holidays...)

just throwing this in as an idea, but also to bump it back to the front page:

if there is enough interest a possible idea would be form groups of 6, and have each group of 6 take over 1/2 of a conf.  either all of 1 div. or 3/3.  then have each conf compete with each other as well as having individual competitions.  We could then do seeding by conf.

The only problem would that a certain division must be chosen whether D1/2/3 as the chosen division to keep the chosen conf's full.

This sounds fun!!!

I think I would play.  I think more than anything it would help me develop as a coach playing against the great coaches on the site.

tark is getting ready for job application period  dont know if this is still being considered.

It is - I am sorry, I've been busy getting caught up with stuff after holidays...I will try to put something together but it might take a week or so. Id love it if people started compiling targets or whatever they want to call awards and whatnot.
