He should be listed as a switch pitcher, just like the switch hitters. Maybe doing that would crash WhatIfSports.

Jung Ho Kang is incorrectly listed as a switch hitter.

well according to baseball reference he only had 28.2 innings which would'nt be enough to qualify with both arms

I'm very interested to see how Arietta & Greinke do. On paper, they look to possibility be a slightly cheaper alternative to '95 Maddux.

Greinke maybe. Arrieta is about the same amount worse as he is cheaper. Greinke may be priced better.

Although he is a defensive liability I like David Ortiz at 4.1 Mil........ 5HR#.....no?

I just drafted an all-2015 OL team with the 5 best (by ERC#) 200 inning pitchers: Arrieta, Greinke, Kershaw, Scherzer and Keuchel.  Alas, Kevin Pillar's our most expensive hitter, but we're playing in Safeco so the pitchers should be able to put up decent ERAs, even if they don't win many...

50 plate appearances is enough to qualify any switch hitter so 25 innings should be enough to qualify any switch pitcher.

I sent in a support ticket about this a few days ago but it's still "pending"

Why all the fuss over a guy with only 29 IP and a 1.19 WHIP and BB/9+ of 77?

Does anyone remember how long it takes for the spreadsheets to be updated?
I'm still waiting for the spreadsheets to be available for download...did I miss this?

Well, one exhibition appearance by Arietta down, and not too good. 7 innings, 5 runs on 10 hits, including a homer, 5 strike outs & 1 BB. But, we won 10-5. Greinke goes in tomorrow's AM game. I hope for much better.

Ok, Greinke was certainly better. 8 innings, 2 runs on 6 hits, 5 strikeouts & 1 BB. Team won 8-2. Yeah, I like that a bit more.

I always play an OL team when the new players are released. Built a team with Greinke, Kershaw, Scherzer, Harvey, and short-season Cueto (Reds, 131 IP) as starters. Also used Stroman who, at $700k and a 178 ERC+ looks like he could be of some value. Like his B/A+ fielding to boot! Ryan Madson, the 74 IP Price, and Hunter Strickland round out the staff

Put Fielder on the team, $4.37m for 693 PAs and a 120 AVG+, 119 OBP+, and .832 OPS# seems worth a shot. Is rated D/D at 1B so I avoid the D-/D- hazard there. Interested in seeing how they do. Also thought Brantley was a good value... 599 PAs for $4.65m (A-/D+ fielding and and .850 OPS# with 45 doubles). Will be playing at Target.

Arietta's 2nd start, not much better. 6 innings, 3 runs on 6 hits, including another homer, 4 strikeouts & 5 BB. Yeesh. I think he's really lucky he didn't give up more runs.
