Yeah, when in empty conference winning the CT is crucial. Low D1 conferences almost never send more than 1 team anyway, so it emphasizes it even more.

Empty conference = one bad game and your season is ruined, no NT, no boost to your resume. So quick and easy to have wasted a month. I agree with chapelhillne and drsnell!
